Duties & Responsibilities

Pursue additional business with existing customers, primarily those that are small to mid-market enterprises (i.e. full potential value of below ~$10k MRC) to provide services within regional market territory. Use Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM front-end to manage sales opportunities and provide appropriate reporting and forecasting of activity
Develop proposals using the full suite of Segra products to win additional business with existing Segra customers in the account base (i.e. uplift)
Responsible for new revenue quota as well as reducing churn/increasing retention

Maintain mid-market customer relationships with existing assigned Segra customers for services in market territory in order to reduce churn and maintain existing revenue base
Investigate and resolve any problems, and position additional products within the account
Prepares and delivers effective sales presentations to existing customers
Re-terms all assigned existing accounts, as applicable, to assure a satisfactory level of retention
Responsible for maintaining assigned existing customer account base

Maintains and updates, as required, customer and company contacts, presentations, proposals and general sales records regarding ongoing sales activity
Submit accurate customer contracts using the Wizard system or other CRM to Sales Engineering or Customer Care organization for the provisioning of products.
Coordinate with customer and Sales Engineering resources to insure expected due dates for product delivery are communicated and appropriate customer personnel remain updated.

Qualifications
Education: Degree in sales / marketing or related field, equivalent work experience, or a combination thereof
Experience: Previous Enterprise level, ILEC-CLEC sales experience preferred and/or managed services experience preferred
Some experience with serving and selling to mid-market and/or major enterprise accounts (i.e. sales >~$5 MRC)
Key Competencies:
Strong Communication skills; Time management skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred
Ability to design strategic plans to position Segra products and services to align with customers changing needs.
Conduct quarterly account review meetings to ensure Segra is secure as the provider of choice.
Problem solving skills to change products and services as needed.
Leverage relationships with existing base to act as referrals to prospective major companies
