This position will collaborate with all segments of the business, leading a team of highly skilled Sr. Directors of Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing and Procurement Operations, Inventory Planning, and Warehouse Operations and Logistics to ensure we are meeting internal customer expectations identifying and documenting new and updated processes, dates, schedules, budgets and requirements. The VP, Supply Chain will develop weekly Dashboards to keep the Executive Leadership Team informed of project statuses, priorities and potential risks. This position will also be responsible for developing an eighteen-month rolling project forecast in anticipation of business needs.
The ideal candidate for this position will have proven experience leading and managing supply chain operations and strategy within the telecommunications or technology service industry. Important elements of this position include forecasting, demand planning, purchasing and strategic sourcing, vendor management, material and inventory management, logistics and distribution through the full life cycle.
This is an executive leadership position responsible for developing and executing strategies to build processes that optimize cost and performance and create rapid growth, propelling Segra to the next level.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years leading a team.
Must have experience in at least two of the following areas: sourcing/warehouse, sourcing/demand planning, inventory management, or some combination thereof.
Must have prior experience either at the VP/Director level or a similar level above a Manager level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building or rebuilding a team (transform a team/org.)
Experience leading strategic initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain
6-Sigma training and/or a Master's of Business Administration
10+ years of Supply Chain Management experience, with a track record of improving operations and optimizing costs.
Proven experience developing and implementing strategic supply chain contingency plans (primary & secondary supplier network)
Strong leadership and communication skills that inspire followership
Demonstrates leadership qualities at the executive level and comfortable with presenting to the C-suite when needed
Progressive leadership responsibility in Supply Planning, Materials, Product Development, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, and Logistics
