ses project management skills and communication skills to collect payments from clients and customers. The accounts receivable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Where you'll work
This position is onsite at our Irving, Texas location.
What you will be doing:
Contact customers to help resolve payment issues and collect on aging accounts; assist in setting up payment plans.
Locate delinquent customer accounts through various procedures, including using collection software or reviewing aging statements to develop appropriate payment arrangements.
Process payments and compile other relevant analyses.
Complete accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks.
Settle bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in the appropriate ledger.
Work with our leadership to provide regular reporting and visibility on the status of our accounts.
Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Provide support for internal and external audits.
Prepare cash receipts for processing.
Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage collection efforts and associated functions.
What you'll need:
High School Diploma or GED
Good verbal and written communication skills.
You have 3+ years of experience in accounting, concentrating on AR.
You are experienced in all things Accounts Receivable.
You have great attention to detail and are very accurate, especially with numbers.
You have experience with NetSuite, or an equivalent ERP, or other collection tools/software such as HighRadius.
You have earned your bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or have equivalent professional experience.
You thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment.
Experience using Google Suite products & Microsoft Office 365.
