    Position summary

    the credentialing process for a high volume of providers, lead credentialing projects and collaborate closely with the Credentialing Director to ensure operational excellence and compliance.

    Where you'll work

    This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three times per week. This position is located in Irving,Tx.

    What you'll be doing

    • Strategic Leadership: Take ownership of the credentialing processes and work collaboratively with internal legal counsel to establish comprehensive healthcare provider onboarding requirements at a national level.

    • Project Team Leadership: Lead and guide cross-functional project teams focused on the implementation of new credentials, therapies, specialties, and verticals. Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and expertise to drive successful project outcomes.

    • Process Optimization: Collaborate with quality assurance and training teams to ensure the efficiency and compliance of credentialing processes. Continuously evaluate and enhance operational procedures to achieve best-in-class credentialing practices.

    • Mentorship and Management: Manage and mentor a team of credentialing specialists, defining their activities and scope of work. Foster a culture of growth and development within the team while ensuring the highest standards of performance.

    • Background Checks and Adjudication: Oversee the investigation and adjudication of fingerprint-based background checks, ensuring thorough assessments in alignment with regulatory standards.

    • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships between our organization and clients, as well as government agencies, by effectively communicating credentialing processes and addressing concerns.

    • Internal Collaboration: Investigate and respond to inquiries and concerns from various internal departments, including legal, revenue, and operations. Collaborate to resolve issues and enhance internal processes.

    • Strategic Support: Assist the Credentialing Director in executing larger strategic initiatives related to credentialing operations. Provide insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

    • Compliance and Oversight: Work closely with the Credentialing Director to ensure the overall compliance of credentialing operations with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    • Ad-Hoc Responsibilities: Undertake additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the credentialing department and organization.

    What you'll need

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare credentialing highly preferred, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior-level role.

    • Effective project management skills, including experience leading cross-functional project teams required.

    • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive process improvements.

    • Strong knowledge of healthcare credentialing processes, regulations, and industry standards.

    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and guide a team of professionals.

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal stakeholders, clients, and government agencies.

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not required
