Where you'll work

You must be located in the US to be considered for this position. You'll have the flexibility to choose between remote work (States permitting) or working from our office in Austin.

What you'll be doing

  • Ensure that the expected value of data management, as well as function and business needs, is met by protecting data, ensuring compliance, and promoting its usage.

  • Standardize data, maintain the technical infrastructure supporting data, and improve data quality and data security.

  • Empower a culture change that encourages a value-driven approach to data sharing and data usage at the company.

  • Manage escalation process as needed to resolve blocking points and data usage conflicts

  • Coordinate the design and implementation of big data architecture and Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities.

What you'll need

  • 7+ years of experience in information security or related roles, with at least 3-5 years managing large-scale data projects.

  • Experience with risk data architecture and technology solutions.

  • Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assets, and approaches related to data protection.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
