This is a player-coach role - part leadership, part execution. You'll set the tone for accuracy, ownership, and accountability while working directly in the credentialing queues yourself. You'll partner with Legal, Operations, and other internal teams to keep our processes compliant, efficient, and ready to scale.

Where you'll work
This role is based at our headquarters in Irving, Texas, with a hybrid schedule (Monday and Friday from home; Tuesday through Thursday in the office).
What you'll be doing
Oversee credentialing activities for a large regional portfolio while directly supporting and guiding one or more credentialing specialists
Manage a high volume of requests and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure legal and regulatory compliance across multiple states.
Partner with Legal teams to stay aligned with changing state laws and regulations.
Actively work in the credentialing queue - maintaining your own productivity while guiding others.
Provide regular feedback and mentorship, acting as a role model for accuracy, ownership, and initiative.
Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Learning & Development, Operations) to implement and document process changes.
Monitor performance metrics and share insights with leadership.
Contribute to special projects, compliance initiatives, and policy updates.
What you'll need
4+ years of experience in compliance, credentialing, or quality assurance, ideally within a regulated industry such as healthcare or technology.
Experience managing or mentoring others in a high-volume operational environment.
Strong project management and prioritization skills.
Proven ability to audit and improve processes to ensure quality and compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a self-starter attitude.
Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating clearly across teams.
Experience with technology platforms or applications is a plus.
