Senior Corporate Counsel - Compliance

including working with business requesters to understand proposed activities, evaluate them, and make recommendations to senior management

• Support Snowflake's policy management system
• Support Snowflake's partner and vendor diligence programs
• Assist with Snowflake's document retention program
• Help manage compliance and ethics trainings
• Help ensure that Snowflake's core compliance policies and operating standards are effectively created, implemented, and enforced
• Partner with the Legal Operations and IT teams to automate and enhance compliance controls

REQUIREMENTS:

• JD from an accredited law school, membership in at least one state bar, and ability to practice in the state in which the role is located

• 5+ years of professional experience, ideally focusing on compliance (e.g., DOJ compliance programs, anti-corruption) or GHG matters

• Law firm experience required; in-house experience is a plus

• Technical savvy with ability to quickly learn and operate new systems

• Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms

• Attitude that no project is too big or too small

• Comfort working in an extremely fast-paced environment

• Sense of humor!

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

• The estimated base salary range for this role is $190,000 - $265,600.

• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
