Automated Quality Assurance/SDET Engineers at various levels of seniority, including staff-level and senior-level positions. As an Automated Quality Assurance/SDET Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of software products by developing automated tests, identifying and resolving defects, and collaborating with development teams. You will use various testing tools and frameworks to conduct comprehensive testing and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Strong programming skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential for this role. These positions are based in our Irving, Texas or Denver, Colorado location, on-site hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design:
Develop comprehensive test plans and design test cases to cover all aspects of the software.
Ensure all functionalities are thoroughly tested
Test Execution
Conduct manual and automated tests to identify bugs and issues.
Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
Test Automation
Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Bug Tracking and Reporting
Document and report defects found during testing.
Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
Continuous Improvement
Analyze test results and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Implement best practices to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
Prepare detailed test reports.
Document test procedures and maintain records of test results.
Qualifications:
For all levels of positions, qualified candidates must:
Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
Be authorized to work for Sonepar in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
Work on-site at our Irving, Texas or Denver, Colorado location, hybrid schedule
Possess demonstrated experience in the following QA/SDET technologies/platforms:
Integration with Azure DevOps (setting up pipeline and key vaults)
Selenium grid mocking tool
Knowledge of any Compatibility tool; Sauce or Browserstack
Knowledge of Visual regression tool; WebdriverCss or Percy
Accessibility testing knowledge using axe-core or similar.
Page Performance tool; Sitespeed/Lighthouse
Staff -Level:
2+ years of strong working knowledge in Node.js, WDIO, OOPS principles, framework design, BDD Cucumber concepts, GIT, Jira & Xray, API testing, load testing, continuous testing, and automation testing scripts.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Senior-Level:
5+ years of strong working knowledge in Node.js, WDIO, OOPS principles, framework design, BDD Cucumber concepts, GIT, Jira & Xray, API testing, load testing, continuous testing, and automation testing scripts.
Proven track record of leading projects and mentoring junior staff members.
