    Position summary

    tor of Sales, for the SDC - San Diego Contractor is responsible for bringing purpose and a plan of action for customer accounts. The role will manage a team of Sales professionals that sell products for various manufacturers or distributors to business establishments.

    This position works closely with and builds strong relationships with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams. As a member of the sales leadership team, the incumbent is expected to manage their book of business and make effective decisions that support sustainable growth.

    What you will do:

    • Develop self and others - assign and accept challenging assignments to expand professional knowledge and capabilities of self and others

    • Embody personal leadership qualities that are in line with our cultural 10 Principles to drive behavior and language that promotes respect and accountability

    • Ensure the Sales team makes consistent sales calls on assigned accounts

    • Review the performance of the Sales team as it relates to overall sales goals

    • Survey new potential accounts and existing accounts on a regular basis

    • Develop strong customer and vendor relationships

    • Ability to partner and work cross-functional with internal support teams

    • Analyze changes in the market conditions as they apply to the territory

    • Develop broad product knowledge to assist customers with product application

    • Develop annual budget and manage overall department P&L

    • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

    • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions

    What you will bring:

    • Solar, Electrical, and/or distribution experience preferred but not required

    Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University

    • 10+ years' in managing professionals, preferably in Sales Management; or

    • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Location:

    San Diego, CA

    50% office 50% Seeing Customers

    Salary Range:

    • This exempt position pays $145,00.00 - $200,00.00 annually. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
