World Electric is hiring an EV Specialist to join our team!

Main purpose of the job

Position World Electric to profitably grow in the E-Mobility market. Be the product expert and work with the materials group on inventory strategies. Be the point person and main resource for everything E-Mobility at World Electric. Prospect for opportunities and work with sales on opportunities they uncover to quote and secure orders for EV Chargers and peripheral equipment.

Key Accountabilities:

• Identify opportunities to quote and close E-Mobility orders (EV chargers and peripheral equipment).

• Be the product expert for E-Mobility equipment at World Electric.

• Work with the materials and operations teams on an inventory strategy.

• Partner with manufacturers/manufacturer reps to develop relationships and become their channel partner of choice.

• Represent World Electric at all Sonepar E-Mobility events and coordinate our strategy with the larger Sonepar initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to quote and close E-Mobility orders (EV chargers and peripheral equipment).

• Perform all assigned duties in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with World Electric policies.

• Participates in and follows all World policies, guidelines, and procedures (safety, Anti-Harassment, Ethics, etc.)

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum work experience requirements:

1-2 yrs. or equivalent work experience in sales and/or analysis preferred.

Minimum education requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required.

• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

• Up to 25% travel.

Work Environment:

• This position will involve work in a traditional office, remote office, and will spend time in the field with sales and customers.
