Quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive Customer Service
Counter and other sales/support duties as directed
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors
Commit to proactive and team approach to sales
Identify and pursue gross margin and market share growth opportunities
Promote heavily the DOTP CSG's for increased market share
Relationship building with will call customers
Daily merchandising display maintenance
Helping warehouse as needed (wire cuts, filling orders, loading delivery truck)
Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring:
Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
Customer service focused
Ability to work directly with customers and suppliers
Able to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize
Able to use (or learn) NCE order entry software program Solar
Computer literate in Adobe, Word, Outlook, and Excel
Able to utilize internet to get product information from manufacturer websites for submittal information
Ability to work with manufacturer provided software for pricing and product information.
Detail oriented
Ability to learn manufacturer pricing programs
Good written and verbal communication skills
Minimum 2 year's experience in the electrical industry
Must have inside sales and/or counter sales experience
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Office environment
Frequent computer and phone use
Standing and lifting
Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required.
Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance
Salary & Compensation:
This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime
Pay is $19.52/hour - $24.38/hour, plus commission, DOE.
