    Position summary

    shipping, and transfer orders to determine products to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

    • Convey material and products from the receiving area to storage or other designated areas.

    • Scan, sort and place material on racks, shelves and/or bins according to predetermined distribution center location.

    • Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.

    • Prepare parcels for mailing.

    • Complete cycle counts and verify quantities of stock on request.

    • Direct and perform a variety of warehousing duties such as monitoring queues, wire cutting, order filling, loading, unloading, stocking, and shipping of wire and conduit products.

    • Verify accurate receipt of wire and conduit products; assign locations to new inventory items to ensure that accessibility and space utilization objectives are met. Monitor placement of merchandise into correct and safe stock locations.

    • Direct cycle counting, wire remnant inventory, and scrap management to maintain integrity of on hand balances.

    • Monitor equipment maintenance and housekeeping. Share information concerning best practices, procedures, and policies to ensure a safe and product work environment.

    • Assist in training and development of associates. Monitor attendance, hours worked and job performance.

    • Perform all assigned duties in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with OneSource policies.

    • Participates in and follows all OneSource policies, guidelines, and procedures.

    What you will bring:

    • Utility, Electrical and/or distribution experience preferred but not required

    • High School diploma or G.E.D.; or

    • 1 year of related experience and/or training; or

    • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Experience with inventory management systems including Eclipse.

    • Organizational and communication skills.

    • Ability to lead a team of wire cutters.

    Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

    • Occasional lifting and pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs

    • Forklift certification

    • Mix of warehouse and office work environments

    Location: This role is based in Fullerton, CA

    Work hours: 11:00am - 7:30pm

    Salary Range:

    • This is a non-exempt position and pays between $23.94 - $31.92 per hour.This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
