The Logistics Assistant plays a vital role in supporting warehouse operations by coordinating and ensuring the smooth flow of deliveries. This includes receiving, unpacking, inspecting, and dispatching parcels, while maintaining accurate documentation and communication throughout the process.
General Responsibilities
• Assist warehouse managers in scheduling and coordinating package deliveries to ensure timely dispatch.
• Receive and inspect incoming parcels to verify the quantity, quality, and accuracy of materials against documentation.
• Complete and maintain accurate records for all incoming and outgoing stock.
• Prepare parcels for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and delivery accuracy.
• Collaborate with drivers and dispatch teams to ensure efficient delivery operations.
• Address and resolve discrepancies in shipment documentation or package contents.
• Uphold safety and quality standards in all logistics activities.
• Dispatching drivers and relaying specific drop off instructions.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
• Prior experience in logistics or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inspections and documentation.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse and delivery teams.
• Basic proficiency in logistics software or tools is a plus.

• Dependable and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across teams effectively.
