    Position summary

    responsibility for managing day-to-day activities of the New York City territory ensuring customers have a positive experience in all aspects of the sales process.

    • Develop, implement, and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

    • Accountable for all financial metrics, revenue, GP, expenses, and EBIT targets.

    • Maintain and strengthen current customer relationships while developing new opportunities.

    • Regularly conduct market analysis to determine customer potential and develop a sales strategy.

    • Work with the marketing and digital teams to develop plans for the expansion of the business in other territories, target marketing, sales promotions, and social media programs.

    • Resolve issues from customers, vendors, and other departments promptly, as needed for appropriate resolution.

    • Maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturers to ensure inventory availability to meet customer needs.

    • Work with purchasing and supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability/delivery of products.

    What you will bring:

    • Ten or more years of experience in a sales leadership role.

    • Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and sales performance.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Strong analytic and quantitative skills with the ability to utilize data.

    Physical Requirements and Work Environment

    • The ability to sit, stand, and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.

    • The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.

    • The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.

    • This job is performed within an office, retail, and light industrial environment.

    • Ability to travel throughout the NYC region.

    Location: The Cooper Electric office is in mid-town Manhattan, however, oversight includes all five boroughs.
    Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; availability after hours to attend company and customer functions as needed.
