Move and handle VFDs ranging in size from a small, wall mount 20 lb. units to large, free-standing cabinets that weigh 1500-2500 lbs, safely
Record keeping of activities is kept in a log book, including customer P/N, Manufacturer's S/N, unit S/N, etc
Verify the functionality of motors by sending speed signals after the wires are connected
Ability to take on additional responsibilities and duties
What you will bring:
Electrical aptitude, including safety awareness around exposed live circuits
Ability to interpret electrical schematics to connect Power and Signal wiring
Mechanical aptitude
Attention to detail
Good organization skills
Windows navigation skills
Previous VFD and/or PLC experience is a plus, but not required
Requirements and Work Environment:
Good Attendance/Safety/Work Record
Ability to perform and comprehend verbal and written communication in English
Warehouse environment
Location: This role is based in San Diego, CA
Work hours: 5:00am - 1:30pm
Salary Range:
This is a non-exempt position and pays between $18.94 - $25.26 per hour.This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
