Senior Audio Engineer

terfaces between hardware and software

• Analyse product data, test product samples, and lead the optimisation of design

• Communicate and liaise with contract manufacturers and vendors

• Contribute to the development of the technology roadmap

• Develop and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

Core:

• An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in acoustics

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant audio product development experience

• A proven track record of supporting the development of products from exploration through to mass production

• Proficient in building tools for system simulation and data analysis using Matlab

• Experience of performing and interpreting audio measurements in electronic and acoustic domains

• Knowledge of the fundamentals of digital signal processing

• Experience with manipulating physical prototypes to achieve accurate acoustic results

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills with experience articulating technical concepts in cross-functional teams

• The ability to travel within China and overseas when required, to meet the needs of the project and the business

Preferred:

• Software programming experience

• Knowledge of Python

• Familiarity with simulation software such as COMSOL

• Experience with supporting high volume production in consumer electronics
