Responsibilities and Tasks
Interact with end users and gather information about issues and use cases.
Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
Perform testing on a variety of systems
Update documentation for end users, technicians, and administrators
Liaison with Purchasing
Required Education and Experience
Sparton interns must meet the following criteria:
Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution in an IT, data science, software development, or related curriculum.
Experience with using web based and PC base software tools and systems.
Understanding of PC architectures
Understanding of networking concepts
Understanding of computer operating systems and how to configure them
IT certifications, such as A+ are recommended
Applicants with a Software development background will also be considered
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to work on-site in De Leon Springs, FL
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Good working knowledge of computer and networking technology.
Ability to use original thinking and ingenuity to solve problems.
Ability to write technical reports and contribute to presentations.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
Must show initiative and motivation, and have the ability to act independently to resolve technical issues.
