    Position summary

    l solutions to meet business needs and company objectives. In this role you'll assist in analyzing and translating needs into detailed specifications to deliver solutions.

    WHAT OUR ASSOCIATE BILLING SOLUTION ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST

    • Assisting in analyzing business partner's operations to understand opportunities for improvement

    • Translating high-level business requirements into functional specifications to deliver solutions for all technology platforms

    • Managing changes to specifications

    • Conducting feasibility studies and analysis to determine the most viable technical solution to business problems and requests

    • Gaining an understanding of business processes, functions, and procedures to assist with determining the most effective technology solution

    • Performing queries on relevant databases and interpreting and analyzing data to support solutions

    • Collaborating with management in systems development and design

    On a typical day you'll establish, and document specifications and objectives based on business requirements and cost effectiveness. You'll present recommended approaches to business stakeholders to gain agreement on technology solutions. If you work independently and are comfortable presenting to various audiences, this role may be for you.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience: Billing system (CSG preferred): entry level or more; billing system design and configuration: entry level or more; database reporting tools, queries, SQL, macros: entry level or more

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft desktop products including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Project

    • Skills: Basic knowledge of systems used by cable and/or telecommunications industries to support billing, customer services, and accounting activities

    • Abilities: Read, write, speak, and understand English; analyze and interpret data; communicate with all levels of management and personnel; handle multiple projects and tasks; maintain confidentiality; make decisions and solve problems under pressure; show judgement and initiative

    • Working conditions: Office environment; able to work extended hours
