Core Responsibilities
Create rational, elegant solutions to complex problems, thinking holistically about the cross-surface user journey.
Design usable, creative, and relevant concepts that influence product and growth strategy.
Lead work from discovery through delivery, guided by research, behavioral data, funnel metrics, and user feedback.
Shape and elevate the customer experience through measurable outcomes and continuous iteration.
Contribute to OKRs, product vision, and roadmap planning with cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, BD, and Marketing.
Ensure scalability and consistency through close partnership with Design Systems and shared component teams.
Rapidly prototype and test ideas from early exploration to high-fidelity micro-interactions to validate before implementation.
Execute with a high level of visual, interaction, and systems design craft.
Growth & Discovery Focus:
Lead the end-to-end discovery experience, spanning Frontsite entry points, landing pages, exploration flows, recommendations, and search.
Develop decision-support patterns that help users compare options, understand value, and confidently choose Domains & Email products.
Translate complex ranking, personalization, or recommendation logic into clear, trust-building UX that guides customers toward the right choice.
Collaborate with PMs, Engineers, Marketing, and Data partners to build high-performing landing pages and run A/B tests across surfaces.
Design context-aware guidance, bundles, and educational moments that improve intent, clarity, and conversion.
Create reusable, scalable UX patterns and frameworks for discovery and evaluation flows that extend across the platform.
Partner with cross-organizational design teams to ensure consistency in UI patterns for early-journey, AI-assisted, or recommendation-driven tools.
Who We're Looking For
6+ years in product design, with experience in growth, discovery, marketing surfaces, funnels, or data-informed UX.
Ability to simplify complex systems, data, or ML-driven insights into clear, actionable user experiences.
Proficient in Figma and skilled in prototyping from broad conceptual explorations to refined, production-ready interactions.
Strong visual and interaction design craft, with mastery of hierarchy, typography, consistency, and motion.
Experienced in UX methodologies for complex systems (service blueprints, user journeys, funnel analysis, usability testing).
Systems thinker who can create scalable frameworks that work across multiple products and teams.
Exceptional storyteller who can tailor communication for executives, engineers, marketers, and non-technical audiences.
Passionate about impactful, user-centered design and staying ahead of industry and AI-driven experience trends.
A thoughtful partner who aligns design decisions with brand vision, product strategy, and business outcomes.

Cash Compensation Range: $128,500 - $207,000 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
