Partner with product management and design leadership to define and execute the product roadmap for our seller-focused mobile applications across Android and iOS.
Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight to ensure the development of scalable, high-quality, and maintainable mobile applications.
Implement and refine engineering processes to improve team velocity and overall efficiency as we scale our mobile engineering efforts.
Guide the team in developing and supporting features essential to store management, ensuring a clear focus on the tools and workflows that our high-value sellers rely on.
Serve as a communication bridge between the mobile engineering team and broader cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Who We're Looking For
7+ years in software development, with a significant portion dedicated to building and shipping high-quality mobile applications on either iOS or Android.
3+ years of direct people management experience.
An understanding of mobile development ecosystems (Swift/Kotlin, MVVM/MVI), including best practices for architecture, performance, and testing.
An eye for user experience and the ability to translate product requirements into elegant technical solutions.
Ability to think strategically about team structure, process, and the alignment of engineering efforts with broader business objectives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical audiences.
A genuine empathy for sellers and a desire to build tools that empower them to thrive.
Strong familiarity with mobile app release practices and CI/CD pipelines, including the submission and review processes for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Cash Compensation Range: $153,500 - $247,250 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
