egic statewide implementation of Renaissance products purchased by the Maryland Department of Education. We will need someone who can work effectively with key stakeholders throughout the state, along with cross functionally with departments at Renaissance. This is a part-time opportunity; 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week during Back to School season.
In this role as State Consultant, you will be responsible for:
Facilitating professional learning opportunities on best practices for product usage aligned to instructional practices
Need experience delivering large scale professional development in a virtual environment.
Coordinate professional development and technical services both in person and virtually
Create and maintain a detailed project schedule in collaboration with the Renaissance Project Management team
Work closely with key Renaissance leaders to resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with schools, district, and state leaders, and Renaissance®
Hold weekly status meetings with key leaders in conjunction with the Renaissance Project Management team
Build awareness for the implementation
Work with stakeholders remotely and onsite (when applicable) to monitor the implementation and form recommendations for next steps
Identify and act on opportunities that improve or expand the state's implementation
Qualifications
For this role as a State Consultant (Part-Time), you should have:
Ideally, a knowledge of Maryland state standards
Knowledge of Renaissance products
Ability to communicate with key state & district leaders
Understanding of how school districts operate within the state
Experience with Microsoft Office, Zoom and Microsoft Teams
