    Overview

    Responsible for developing and implementing an effective training strategy, including building out and leading a team responsible for operational training content and delivery for Customer Operations. This position will develop a vision for a standardized operational training program and must foster collaboration and buy-in from business leaders across Customer Operations. This position will bring a best-in-class approach to learning strategy, content development, instructional design and training delivery. This position leads a team that develops, coordinates and administers training programs for internal customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Customer Operations leaders to develop training strategy; understand business trends and requirements, analyze organizational development needs and develop/implement learning strategies and programs at individual and team levels

    • Develop a best-in-class team of Customer Operations trainers and instructional designers who have strong collaboration with business leaders to develop and deliver best-in-class content

    • Create and implement a learning strategy for training

    • Define process and create capability for centralized tracking and robust reporting of training; create centralized repository of training content

    • Using strong project management skills, create structure around timeline management and content development

    • Gather information on new products and product enhancements, developing/updating materials and curriculum design

    • Develop training materials based on problem analysis and process improvement

    • Determine the best instructional methods for training initiatives by working closely with internal clients to maximize effectiveness and costs

    • Prepare lesson plans and create relevant supplemental training material

    • Track and analyze course evaluations and training program effectiveness, tracking and evaluating trends, and adjusting training materials based on feedback and training results

    • Lead development and maintenance of training content, presentations, and accompanying materials.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required. Master's in Organization Development, Learning, Leadership or other related field preferred

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role leading operational training in a large, complex organization with specific knowledge and/ or expertise in learning and development and organization effectiveness

    • Experience building and implementing training programs

    • Experience designing and developing instructor led content

    • Proven experience in development of multiple learning modalities (e.g. mobile, online)

    • Strong content development experience using rapid development tools (e.g. Articulate, Storyline, Captivate, Lectora, Adobe Creative Cloud Solutions)

    • Experience in technical writing and/or product documentation

    • Ability to manage all phases of a solution/ project lifecycle, from initial solution design and planning, to execution and measurement

    • Thorough understanding of adult learning theory

    • Strong leadership abilities, specifically in creating and shaping a customer focused environment

    • Ability to take complex problems and create a simple curriculum to reduce training time.

    Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
    $91,076.90 to $121,435.86
