    Position summary

    ogies (DVT)** division at Siemens seeks a skilled Software Development Engineer to join the team responsible for the DVT Creation, Static, and Formal (CSF) product line.

    If you have a fervent interest in crafting efficient code pivotal to multiple products, this role offers an ideal fit. As part of our multi-site development team focused on key CSF tools, you'll contribute to the enhancement of shared cross-platform infrastructure mechanisms and data representations. Your efforts will target reusability, scalability, performance, and memory optimization across CSF tools.
    Required Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science.
    • Proficiency in software engineering best practices such as reviews, design documentation, and testing.
    • Proficient in modern C++, object-oriented programming (OOP), and experience with development on UNIX/LINUX and Windows platforms.
    • Demonstrated aptitude for analysis and problem-solving.
    • Outstanding software engineering, programming, and debugging skills.
    • Proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
    • Familiarity with code optimization techniques for enhanced performance and memory management.
    • Knowledge of modern database systems (e.g., SQLite, MongoDB).
    • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Shell scripting).
    • Understanding of microservices architecture is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with HDL languages like VHDL and Verilog is a plus.
    • Understanding of web technologies is beneficial.
    • Strong aptitude for learning, exploring, and innovating with complex technologies.
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively present ideas and share knowledge with others.

    Main responsibilities

    • Collaborating with both local and international developers to grasp and oversee the interconnections among project tasks, as well as engaging in detailed discussions regarding implementation specifics.

    • Engaging in project planning and monitoring, delving into task exploration, breaking down work, and estimating schedules, while ensuring the project lead is kept abreast of project status and potential risks.

    • Tackling intricate software applications, comprehending and implementing features, and resolving bugs without disrupting existing functionalities.

    • Integrating rudimentary coverage for implemented features, executing software test suites, and investigating any encountered failures.

    • Adhering to the software process throughout the software development cycle and furnishing code of exceptional quality.
