    • Job Title: Calibre LEAP Intern

    • Division: Integrated Circuit Solutions

    • We are looking for a highly motivated recent college student, based in the U.S., to join our R&D software engineering team within the Calibre engineering group of the Design to Silicon business unit. As a member of the LEAP (Learning through Exploration and Active Participation) team, you will work on pioneering models and algorithms for simulating projection lithography, a critical process in semiconductor manufacturing. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of talented researchers and engineers to develop innovative machine learning solutions and enhance the accuracy and performance of existing models.

    • Responsibilities:

    • • Collaborate in the development and enhancement of advanced lithography algorithms and machine learning models.

    • • Develop training and data generation pipelines for machine learning applications.

    • • Develop tests and routines to evaluate model accuracy and quality.

    • • Present detailed technical proposals and participating in discussions with peers.

    • • Document new software features through comprehensive functional specifications.

    • Required Skills:

    • • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.

    • • Programming skills Python and/or C++

    • • Basic knowledge of algorithm and data structure design.

    • • Excel both in a team-oriented development and working independently.

    • Preferred Skills:

    • • Strong programming skills in Python or C++

    • • Strong knowledge in deep learning approaches such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs)

    • • Basic knowledge in signal processing

    • • Software engineering skills using Unix/Linux operating systems.

    • The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00 for technical roles or $18.00 to $44.00 for non-technical positions.
