    Position summary

    "I am the person that Capital Group is looking for."

    • You will establish partnerships with business units to build subject matter expertise on data and insights needed to support business outcomes.

    • You will be a partner with data & technology teams to support delivery of outcomes

    • You will design, build, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions in support of enabling insights

    • You will lead large strategic projects from scope definition to execution and implementation.

    • You will be responsible for interpreting and communicating results to analytical and non-analytical business partners and senior leaders.

    • You will demonstrate quick problem-solving skills and the ability to respond creatively to complex issues, using sound judgement.

    Qualifications:

    • You are proficient in one or many coding languages like SQL, Python or PySpark. Experience with Databricks is a plus.

    • You have experience using reporting/data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau and SSRS as well as ETL tools like Alteryx or PowerQuery to collect, analyze, visualize and interpret data to derive actionable insights

    • You have a solid background in business intelligence, reporting, data transformation and/or database design

    • You have domain experience in the asset management industry and with investment data that includes: portfolio characteristics, performance, attribution, and other metrics.

    • You have a solid background in translating unstructured business problems into clearly defined requirements and solutions, and provide guidance on prioritizing data requirements

    • You have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to continually learn new concepts, technologies and effectively apply them

    • You've led large scale projects and have had success in leading projects across multiple teams.

    • You quickly establish and maintain relationships across multiple teams to develop and deliver enterprise-scale products that extract, transform and integrate data from different data sources

    • You understand data models and designs for data warehouses

    • You are a skilled communicator. You place a high value on being authentic, respectful and engaging.

    Southern California Base Salary Range: $136,858-$218,973

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
