You've facilitated risk directed discussions and operational event response processes with business areas to identify key risks and controls, to enable prompt event resolution, and to identify adequate control enhancements.
You've had experience with SOC 1 reporting/audits, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and other enterprise and operational risk management activities.
You have strong written and oral communication skills including experience preparing regular risk reports for executive management, committees and other stakeholders detailing relevant operational events, risk management activities and initiatives, and other related matters.
You've continually reviewed and evolved risk management frameworks in response to business and regulatory change.
You have strong planning, organization, and project management skills to exercise good judgement and have a process for managing competing priorities. You are comfortable when priorities shift, and you manage change with steadfast composure.
You work well with and through others on cross-functional and enterprise initiatives and apply intellectual curiosity and analytical skills to resolve matters of complexity and ambiguity independently while demonstrating sound judgement.
You've had experience in identifying and interpreting meaningful information by interrogating large amounts of data (i.e., data analytics), leveraging technology to help further strengthen control environments and support organizational risk oversight and governance.
You've learned how to build strong relationships with business partners providing broad risk management and technical expertise.
You are a dependable team player able to collaborate with colleagues regionally and globally.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $103,977-$166,363
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
