    Position summary

    efits offerings and evaluate new options based on industry trends and associate feedback.

    • Oversee the daily operations of benefits programs, includes but not limited to health insurance, retirement plans, wellbeing initiatives, and supplementary benefits, while managing relationships with benefit providers to ensure smooth operations, contract management, timely renewals, and exploring potential enhancements.

    • Partner with the Benefits Administrator to analyze and resolve associate and system issues.

    • Stay informed about regulatory changes in pension plans and benefits, ensuring all required annual reporting and plan auditing is completed accurately and on time.

    • Demonstrate consulting skills by resolving complex issues and applying knowledge of Capital's plans and plan documents to everyday situations, while applying expertise to establish and improve workflows and processes as a subject matter expert.

    • Create and implement communication strategies to educate associates about their benefits, includes but not limited to developing brochures, intranet announcements, emails, and presentations, while maintaining up-to-date benefits information on CGWeb and other relevant platforms or documents.

    • Participate in initiatives that have a broad impact on the business.

    • Facilitate training sessions and organize events related to benefits, includes but not limited to well-being, EAP, financial planning, menopause, and DE&I.

    • Provide HR Shared Services with guidance on general benefit questions, plan administration and updates, and collaborates on complex cases.

    • Guides payroll on benefit and pension plan designs and operations for administration and collaborates on complex cases.

    • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

    • N/A - this role doesn't require any environmental conditions inherent to the job that would be considered outside of a normal office environment.

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
