    Position summary

    PCS was founded in 1974 and began as an in-house family office for of the Capital Group organization, and a third of clients are still current or former Capital Group associates and their families. Clients entrust PCS to manage $38 billion in assets with an average client relationship of $15 million.

    You will be responsible for the full product development and management life cycle for investment products and services offered to PCS' high-net worth clients. You'll be primarily responsible for leading the expansion of PCS' alternative investment services platform as well as overseeing the existing investment services and capabilities (SMAs, ETFs, third-party funds, etc.). You'll build out and manage marketing materials, due diligence, policy and operational processes. You'll educate advisors and meet with clients to explain alternatives investment strategies and results. You'll help to develop asset allocation guidance. You'll partner with Private Client Operations and PCS IT to develop scalable processes and infrastructure.

    • You have a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field, and 7+ years of experience in investment services, with a focus on alternatives and private market asset classes.

    • You enjoy solving complex problems and collaborating with stakeholders to implement creative solutions and operational processes.

    • You demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the wealth management business.

    • You demonstrate advanced knowledge of alternative investment products and the competitive landscape and trends.

    • You demonstrate advanced knowledge of investment analysis and asset allocation concepts as acquired through CFA, CAIA, and/or CPWA, or similar designations.

    • You are a credible and collaborative thought-partner for Private Wealth Advisors, Client Relationship Teams, and Portfolio Specialists to develop appropriate recommendations and join meetings with clients to help explain alternative investments.

    • You have effective written and oral communication skills and can engage with a wide range of stakeholders (advisors, clients, senior business leaders and investment professionals)

    • You have experience mentoring associates and managing a team directly and/or in a matrixed environment

    Southern California Base Salary Range: $153,965-$246,344

    San Francisco Base Salary Range: $179,549-$287,278

    New York Base Salary Range: $163,212-$261,139

    Atlanta Base Salary Range: $135,921-$217,474

    Chicago Base Salary Range: $143,475-$229,560

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
