    Position summary

    highlight and support Capital Group Canada's investments and solutions that align with advisor goals.

    • You will manage the sales pipeline and work with a team (wholesaler and sales support coordinator) to advance the sales process for mutual funds, separately managed accounts (SMAs) and exchange traded funds (ETFs) opportunities.

    • You have experience in conducting proactive sales calls to strategically selected advisors to build and own relationships and consistently move the sales process forward.

    • Your scope will include gathering and using data, including economic, industry, and other business-related information; to incorporate, as appropriate, in discussions with advisors and coverage of the territory.

    • To thrive in the role, you will execute business plans in partnership with your team, to meet and exceed expected territory results. In addition, you will evaluate results and decide adjustments in coverage strategy, as needed.

    • You will use your expertise of the mutual fund industry, SMAs, ETFs and other applicable investment products.

    • You have knowledge of current and possible future trends in the industry.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a sales role in the asset management industry.

    • Proven client relationship building and sales results.

    • Bachelor's degree with a preference in business. MBA is an asset.

    • CIM or CFP preferred.

    • Excellent communication and time management skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Effective leadership skills.

    Territory: Alberta and Saskatchewan. The preference is for the candidate to live in Calgary.

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
