    As the Social Media Writer, you will:

    • Be responsible for creating and publishing content on Capital Group's owned social channels in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia.

    • Rewrite drafts from various writers following platform best practices and maintaining a consistent brand tone of voice.

    • Review longer-form written content and summarize it into provocative posts suitable for social media.

    • Craft a comprehensive content strategy outlining how to achieve Capital Group's objectives through digital content.

    • Adopt a continuous improvement approach to content optimization.

    • Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.

    • Ensure Capital Group remains at the forefront of digital engagement.

    • Work closely with other writers, marketing teams, PR, and stakeholders.

    • Partner with team members to maintain a cohesive and consistent message across all digital platforms.

    • Provide source data/materials to substantiate any claims in our content.

    As a Social Media Writer at Capital Group, you'll be the driving force behind our digital engagement. Crafting impactful content, staying ahead of trends, and fostering growth within our digital community-your role is pivotal in shaping our brand's narrative across all platforms.

    • Create engaging content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, video scripts, and podcasts, targeting a global professional audience.

    • Understand search engine optimization (SEO) principles to optimize content visibility.

    • Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and data analysis for content impact assessment.

    • Manage content calendars, deadlines, and launch dates.

    • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all content channels.

    • 5-7 years of relevant experience with content creation, social media management, and familiarity with industry trends and best practices.

    • Experience in a highly regulated environment, such as the financial services industry, would be advantageous.

    Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
