You will partner with a sales team to raise and retain assets within a geographic territory by making proactive sales calls, supporting existing clients, and conducting virtual and in-person meetings with advisors. You will identify advisors' needs, uncover areas of opportunities, discuss products, and offer a consultative solution to help their clients.

You will partner with the regional wholesaler to develop, implement, and execute a strategic business and coverage plan that targets select advisors based on their segmentation.
You'll play a critical role in connecting with advisors to highlight and support Capital Group Canada's investments and solutions that align with advisor objectives.
You will manage the sales pipeline and work with a team (regional wholesaler and sales support coordinator) to advance the sales process for mutual funds, exchange traded funds and separately managed account opportunities.
You have experience in conducting proactive sales calls to strategically selected advisors to build and own relationships and consistently move the sales process forward.
Your scope will include gathering and utilizing data, including economic, industry, and other business-related information; to incorporate, as appropriate, in discussions with advisors and coverage of the territory.
To thrive in the role, you will execute business plans in partnership with your team, to meet and exceed expected territory results. In addition, you will evaluate results and determine adjustments in coverage strategy, as needed.
You have knowledge in current and future trends in the industry as well as advanced knowledge of capital markets, and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications
You have a minimum 7-10 years of experience in a sales role in the asset management industry.
You have proven client relationship building experience and sales results within a geographic territory.
You have a deep knowledge of mutual fund, ETF's and SMA's.
You have a bachelor's degree with a preference in business. MBA is an asset.
You have a CIM, CFP and/or CFA.
You are an excellent communicator and have effective time management skills.
You inspire and motivate team members with energy, vision, and clear direction to achieve results.
You can work independently and as part of a team.
You are solution-oriented and an effective leader.

Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous mettrez en œuvre des plans d'affaires en partenariat avec votre équipe afin d'atteindre et de dépasser les résultats attendus pour votre territoire. De plus, vous évaluerez les résultats et déterminerez les modifications à apporter à la stratégie de couverture, le cas échéant.
Vous connaissez les tendances actuelles et futures du secteur, et possédez des connaissances approfondies des marchés financiers et du paysage concurrentiel.
Qualifications
Vous possédez au moins 7 à 10 ans d'expérience dans un poste commercial dans le secteur de la gestion d'actifs.
Vous avez démontré votre capacité à établir des relations avec les clients et obtenu des résultats commerciaux dans une zone géographique donnée.
Vous avez une connaissance approfondie des fonds communs de placement, des fonds négociés en bourse (FNB) et des comptes à gestion distincte (CGD).
Vous êtes titulaire d'un diplôme de baccalauréat, de préférence en commerce. Une maîtrise en administration des affaires (MBA) est un atout.
Vous détenez les titres de CIM, CFP et/ou CFA.
Vous possédez d'excellentes aptitudes à la communication et savez gérer efficacement votre temps.
Vous inspirez et motivez les membres de l'équipe avec énergie, une vision claire et des orientations pour obtenir des résultats.
Vous pouvez travailler de manière autonome et en équipe.
