    Position summary

    • Faire preuve d'écoute afin de prévenir d'éventuels échanges tendus avec la clientèle.

    • Appliquer les directives et procédures de l'entreprise pour résoudre les problèmes rencontrés habituellement par les clients.

    • Enregistrer les commandes des clients désireux d'acheter nos produits.

    • Participer au contrôle de qualité de nos logiciels.

    • Rédiger des réponses type dans le cadre de foires aux questions (FAQ).

    • Identifier des problèmes récurrents rencontrés par les clients, et en aviser son supérieur

    Vous êtes fait pour le rôle d'Agent de Soutien fiscal si votre expérience professionnelle inclut :

    • Solides connaissances en fiscalité.

    • Savoir travailler en équipe, et être polyvalent.

    • Grandes capacités d'organisation, et de gestion des priorités.

    • Faire preuve d'efficacité même sous pression.

    • Excellentes capacités à communiquer tant à l'oral et qu'à l'écrit.

    • Proposer des solutions innovantes pour résoudre les problèmes.

    • Adaptabilité professionnelle.

    • Expérience dans le domaine du service à la clientèle, savoir agir avec tact et diplomatie.

    • Avoir le désir de connaître de nouveaux produits et services en fonction des besoins de la clientèle.

    • Expérience pertinente dans le domaine du service à la clientèle.

    • Baccalauréat, ou expérience équivalente.

    Atouts:

    • Diplôme universitaire en fiscalité, comptabilité, finance, gestion.

    • Diplôme du cours d'impôt de H&R Block

    • Intérêt pour la fiscalité.

    • Connaissances en matière d'impôt sur le revenu des entreprises (T2/CO-17) et /ou des fiducies (T3/TP-646).

    Tax Support Agents, Contract - Fully Remote

    Are you passionate about the chance to bring your Tax support experience to a world-class company, with unlimited career growth opportunities? Thomson Reuters is looking to add a self-motivated Tax Support Agent. This is a well-established global team, that supports our cutting-edge Tax Products to deliver best-in-class customer experience. The ideal candidate has a combination of problem-solving and good communication skills in English and/ or French.

    About the Role

    In this opportunity as Tax Support Agent, you will:

    • Provide taxation support to clients by telephone and email for our various tax software for Professionals and Consumers

    • Apply active listening skills to diffuse a potentially tense customer interaction.

    • Apply company policy and procedures to resolve routine customer issues.

    • Log orders from customers who would like to purchase our products.

    • Participate in software quality control testing.

    • Write standard answers for frequently asked questions (FAQ).

    • Determine recurrent issues coming from our different clients and inform the supervisor.

    About You

    You're a fit for the role of Tax Support Agent if your background includes:

    • Good knowledge of income tax.

    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.

    • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Ability to perform well under pressure.

    • Good communication (verbal & written).

    • Strong problem-solving abilities, ability to generate innovative approaches and solutions to problems.

    • Team player with a flexible attitude and approach.

    • Customer service orientation and experience, with proven success in customer support and relationship management.

    • Willingness to learn additional products and services as needed to meet client demand.

    • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service.

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

    Assets

    • University degree in taxation or related field (accounting, finance, administration).

    • H & R Block tax course graduate.

    • Good knowledge of the accounting cycle and/or experience in an accounting office.

    • Interest for taxation.

    • Knowledge of corporate income tax (T2/CO-17) and/or trust (T3/TP-646).
