    Position summary

    eeply familiar with social media as a newsgathering tool and how misinformation travels online

    • Proactively pitch fact-check articles addressing misinformation

    • Communicate fact-check findings in a manner that is clear, concise, and free from bias

    • Be part of our global fact-checking team

    About You

    To be a Fact-Checking Producer , you will:

    • Demonstrate an analytical approach and an ability to research independently

    • Have at least 3 years of reporting and news writing experience

    • Show a proven interest in covering U.S. current affairs and misinformation

    • Show strong news judgement

    • Be able to identify emerging trends and misinformation

    • Write crisp and clean copy in English

    Prior experience in reporting, social media newsgathering, OSINT or fact-checking would be a clear advantage.

    This role has a daytime shift pattern and may include occasional weekend shifts.
