About the Role
In this opportunity as Individual State Tax Analyst you will:
Analyze tax forms and related laws to ensure our software is kept current
Design the client interface, such as input/output screens, in our tax products
Implement changes to our existing tax software products
Write and/or communicate design and system flow specifications for software engineers
Test software products
Provide phone support to our customers during peak season
About You
You're a fit for the role of Individual State Tax Analyst if you:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Have two or more years of recent income tax experience or significant experience providing technical support to end users of tax software
Hold extensive knowledge of Tax requirements
Exhibit strong communication and computer skills
Possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation
Have two or more years of Federal and State Individual tax preparation experience
Have experience with electronic filing of tax returns
Have experience with state, city, and local income tax preparation
