    About the Role

    In this opportunity as a Pricing Director, you will:

    • Develop strategic pricing recommendations for new and existing products to maximise revenue opportunity across customer segments informed by market research & aligned to TR's goals & objectives

    • Set prices for global platforms, packaged offerings, individual products and value-add capabilities which include coordination of pricing implementation, discount management, pricing tactics and management of pricing across the value chain

    • Lead the research effort to determine differentiation in TR's offering and determine positioning and pricing model to create value for our customers

    • Conduct pricing analysis to inform strategy and assess financial impact of overall pricing strategy. Create models to assess price elasticity, feature/price trade-offs, and identify opportunities to optimise pricing to increase profitability

    • Develop programs and initiatives to grow/defend margin and avoid margin leakage at the deal level and throughout the customer lifecycle, working with regional and segment commercial leaders, as well as Finance

    • Support the digital sales channel strategy and establish digital pricing and commercial models that identify optimal pricing levels informed by customer needs, benchmark analysis, revenue optimisation and risk mitigation considerations

    • Advocate global best practice pricing tools and practices. Develop and promote business cases for investment in pricing in Thomson Reuters

    • Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of price changes and policies and implement continuous pricing optimisation plans

    • Serve as a pricing thought leader and decision support function for strategic and day-to-day transactional pricing activities

    About You

    You're a fit for the role of Pricing Director if your background includes:

    • Experienced B2B pricing leader with 7+ years of pricing experience

    • Experienced in managing pricing decisions, enabling repeatable pricing strategies, segmentation analysis, competitive benchmarking, price tiering and price sensitivity modelling

    • Ability to develop, execute and interpret primary customer research (e.g., surveys, conjoint research, focus groups, etc.)

    • Proven track record of leading pricing efforts in technology intensive industries with demonstrated expertise in pricing strategy formulations

    • Able to identify and develop solutions to complex cross-functional challenges from a strategic and operational perspective

    • Ability to influence various stakeholders, including senior management, by communicating clearly and persuasively
