About the Role
In this opportunity as a Research Specialist, you will:
Ensure that the Lead Counsel process is running smoothly and within stated timelines and deadlines
Coordinate with leadership, Super Lawyers Research Team, sales, marketing and other partner teams within Thomson Reuters to leverage Lead Counsel leads and data
Represent the Lead Counsel attorney verification process to internal partners, customers and other external constituents over the phone and in person, acting as a diplomat for the verification process, value it provides and the business
Support and assists external legal industry professionals and customers with Lead Counsel-related questions as needed
Seek continuous improvements and updates to Lead Counsel; leverages efficiencies to increase Lead Counsel verification volumes
Partner with leadership, Super Lawyers Research Team, technology and development teams to propose, test, and implement technical updates need4ed to support Lead Counsel and Super Lawyers
Collect, manage and maintain research databases, as well as creating reports for the Lead Counsel and Super Lawyers operations
Maintains high standards of excellence in work product, research practices, support, data management and analysis responsibilities and tasks as assigned by leadership
About You
You are a fit for the role of Research Specialist, if your background includes:
Associate Degree required, undergraduate Degree preferred
Up to 1 year experience working with data collection and/or internet based research
Excellent communication skills
Highly motivated and able to consistently meet deadlines
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently
External/customer support or service experience preferred
