As a Senior UX Designer on the Design System team you'll work closely with designers, developers, content strategists, accessibility specialists, and researchers to develop, grow, and maintain our global design system. About the Role
As a Senior UX Designer on Design System Team , you will:
Create and build - Rapidly iterate through journey maps, storyboards, user flows, sketches, wireframes, and other design artifacts to effectively communicate interaction and a dynamic content strategy. Have deep experience with responsive UI design methodology and processes (user-centered and iterative design). Create prototypes for UX research testing with industry leading tools.
Be part of a collaborative team: Work closely with the UX Designers, Accessibility Specialists, Content Strategists, and UX Researchers in a collaborative team-oriented environment to create new products, features and functionality. Advocate for the user's needs while developing features that align to the needs of the user.
Be an Effective Facilitator: Share ideas, participate in peer-reviews, and exhibit strong listening skills. You justify and articulate design decisions during design reviews. You lead brainstorming and sketching sessions with product teams, and can share outcomes using your excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be Curious & Innovative: Continuously update yourself with next generation user experiences, technology, and contribute to process development practices. Turn user research and usability feedback into easy-to-use solutions. Gather, analyze, and synthesize UX needs for complex product and user requirements.
About You
You're a fit for this role if you have:
Basic qualifications:
5-8 years design experience creating simple solutions for complex challenges
Experience in responsive design with case studies in your portfolio
Experience in complex application design
Experience with creating or contributing to a corporate/enterprise design system
Experience with Accessibility guidelines (WCAG, AODA)
Experience with industry leading design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
Strong portfolio of work that illustrates your process, your level of craft and the results you have driven
Familiarity with Agile development
Confidence in working with strong, passionate, fast-paced team environment
Strong time-management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Preferred qualifications:
BA/BS in graphic design, fine art, visual communications, HCI or related field (or equivalent industry training / experience)
Familiarity with: Web standards (W3C and 508)
Familiarity with front-end development best practices (HTML, CSS, JS)

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $88,200 - $163,800.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
