About the Role
In this opportunity as Sr Product Marketing Manager, Inbound - Westlaw, you will:
Deliver and support development of high-impact product marketing activities that drive and support product awareness, client usage and retention, market leadership, and enable new sales and up-selling/cross-selling across the Westlaw portfolio.
Identify target markets, buying personas and related value propositions for Westlaw within the subsegments. Communicate that to marketing, sales and segment partners so they can develop materials/tools/campaigns that support the channels/segments in meeting their sales and revenue goals.
Understand current product portfolio and positioning, competitive environment, and market opportunities.
Provide analyses to determine ROI and effectiveness, and recommendations for program refinement in the future.
Conduct win / loss interviews and other customer-facing initiatives to bring insights into the company.
Support the development of insights into client and market needs by gathering feedback from clients, prospects, and the market.
Actively participate in customer meetings.
Analyze, interpret, and utilize market information, including customer and competitive data and market research to build effective product marketing programs and strategies.
Work closely with internal and external teams including channels/segments, product management, sales, sales enablement, outbound product marketing, marketing strategy, creative and production, campaign planning, and content center of excellence to develop and execute product marketing programs and initiatives.
Provide ongoing reporting and updates to key stakeholders on programs, activities, and results.
Coordinate with other Thomson Reuters divisions and teams on select ad hoc projects.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Sr Product Marketing Manager, Inbound - Westlaw if your background includes:
4 - 6+ years' product marketing and/or relevant experience
Experience in online research solutions is preferred Customer-centric; able to represent the customers' perspective and maintain strong client relationships; and strong commercial acumen with an ability to 'think like a customer'
Strong knowledge of marketing and sales operations
Ability to communicate persuasively and tactfully with all levels of management, co-workers, and customers, in written and verbal form
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Highly organized and motivated with ability to drive results
Project management and analytical skills
Strong Team player, positive attitude, adaptable to change
Experience with the legal services market is an advantage
Bachelor's degree required
Experience with the Canada, UK and European markets preferred
