About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Tax Analyst, you will:
Analyze tax forms and related laws to ensure our software is kept current
Design the client interface, such as input/output screens, in our tax products
Anticipate and assess the impact of proposed regulatory developments to stay ahead of changes in laws and regulations impacting our tax products
Write and/or communicate design and system flow specifications for software engineers utilizing ADO workflow software
Test software products
Write/update help documentation and work with our Content team of writers to implement into the software
Provide assistance and share knowledge to our Customer Success team during peak season so they can support our users in an efficient manner.
About You:
You're a fit for this role of Tax Analyst, if your background includes:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Three or more years of recent individual income tax preparation and/or review experience or significant multi-year experience providing technical support to end users of tax software
Extensive knowledge of individual tax law
Detail-oriented with an aptitude for analysis and problem-solving including the ability to interpret, analyze, and organize detailed individual tax law
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills as well as computer skills
Desired Experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Enrolled Agent (EA)
Three or more years of partnership and/or S Corporation tax preparation experience a plus
Experience with electronic filing of tax returns
Experience with tax planning and client advisory a plus
State, city, and local income tax preparation a plus

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $56,000 - $104,000.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
