    About the Role
    In this opportunity as Technical Lead, Employee Technology Services, you will:

    • Work with diverse teams, including HR, IT, Global Real Estate and business units, to understand the organization's needs and conduct gap analyses of employee technology services; facilitate workshops, synthesise output and develop user journeys.

    • Evaluate and recommend technology vendors and service providers across a variety of workplace and real estate technology areas.

    • Design scalable technical and functional specifications, considering factors such as desired employee experience, hybrid and built environment strategy and organisational security policies.

    • Work with strategy leaders to support the evolution of consistent global standards for the technology ecosystem in our offices, providing seamless, connected experiences for our colleagues.

    • Use a range of design methods to drive innovation; maintain an awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies that support future of work design.

    • Provide cost estimates and budget recommendations for ETS solutions, considering factors like hardware, software, licensing, and support costs.

    • Ensure new and existing capabilities adhere to industry best practices and organizational security policies, including data protection, user authentication/authorization control and audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.

    • Oversee the deployment and configuration of ETS solutions, working closely with project managers, IT teams, and vendors to ensure timely and successful implementations.

    About You

    You're a fit for the role of Technical Lead, Employee Technology Services if your background includes:

    • A strong practical background in workplace and real estate technology ("PropTech") in a corporate environment.

    • Knowledge of various workplace technologies such as collaboration tools, productivity software, cloud services, networking and communication solutions, workplace management tools, HR, and IT systems etc.

    • Proficiency in designing and implementing technology solutions. Able to develop functional and technical specifications and understand factors impacting design, such as user experience, hybrid work environment and security policies.

    • Able to keep up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies; should understand future of work concepts and their impact on workplace design.

    • Ability to assess and recommend technology vendors and service providers, based on their capabilities, cost, and alignment with the organization's needs.

    • Track record of dealing with off-the-shelf and complex bespoke solutions and evaluating the trade-offs of alternative solutions.

    • An ability to provide cost estimates and budget recommendations for ETS solutions, considering factors like hardware, software, licensing, and support costs.

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

    • Minimum ExperienceBachelor's degree or higher in information technology, computer science, architecture (or equivalent).

    • 5+ years practical experience in workplace technology experience design and implementation.

    • A thorough understanding of potential technologies, platforms, and employee-facing tools within the built environment: AV and video conferencing for meeting rooms, boardrooms and hybrid collaboration, including knowledge of Microsoft Teams hardware endpoints.

    • Use of IoT for occupancy monitoring, environmental quality and wayfinding.

    • Desk and meeting room reservation systems.

    • Digital workplace experience and/or IWMS platforms.

    • Intelligent buildings

    • Digital lockers and mailroom management solutions.

    • Knowledge of or an interest in: customer or employee experience frameworks and sentiment analysis; the role of technology in creating a high performing, human-centric workplace.

    • A proven track record of conducting thorough research and analysis to identify HaaS and SaaS solutions that align with the organization's requirements, budget, and technology stack; ability to score functionality and review pricing, scalability, and integration capabilities.

    • Proven experience integrating digital solutions with existing systems, such as building systems, identity and access management systems, and other enterprise applications.

    • Knowledge of security principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to ETS solutions, such as data protection, user authentication/authorization, and privacy regulations.
