The Cost & Commercial Management Team (CCM) is a team within Corporate Services and is responsible for life-cycle cost planning and management of our global real estate. The team safeguards the commercial interests of real estate for our organisation, and seeks to ensure value for money is being driven through all Real Estate activities.
Responsibilities:
- Work within the EMEA Cost team on the cost-commercial management and regional office portfolio, inclusive of current/new sites and projects
- Advise commercial perspectives and facilitate decisions to establish new sites / projects
- Collaborate with different teams to prepare cost information and decision points
- Collect and analyse real estate and construction related market data (e.g., transaction, construction, operation costs) to drive project life cycle(s)
- Assist in establishing and implementing effective cost planning and management systems for projects
- Support in managing project/portfolio budgets to minimise exposure and risk
- Participate in feasibility studies and establish project target cost and budget
- Review cost plans, cost estimates prepared by consultants
- Manage all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award for live projects
- Responsible for project cost updates, cash flow, expenditure forecasts, variations management and final account process
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Cost planning and management experience in real estate and construction markets.
- Able to work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professionally qualified in MRICS or equivalent.
- Good understanding of the real estate market. Knowledge in property leasing in EMEA is preferred.
- Corporate fit-out experience.
