Backend Engineer - Intelligent Video Creation

Video Creation Team:
Our team's mission is to empower TikTok users to turn creativity into reality via videos. We build the core video creation product to support tens of millions of TikTok creators every day. All the viral props and effects you find on TikTok are developed by us, via close collaboration with TikTok AR effects and multimedia teams. Our goal is to build the world's best video creation software. On this team, you will be working with our XFN partners to define a world-class video creation experience, designing the architecture of TikTok video creation tools and pipelines, and shipping cutting-edge features to take TikTok to the next level.

Responsibilities:
1.Collaborate with AR Effect team, Computer Vision team and Digital Video & Audio team to define a world-class video creation experience.
2.Learn and understand how Bytedance product works and help build end-to-end solutions.
3.Design and implement large-scale backend systems that empower TikTok video creation products.
4.Build world-class products, which combine usability, accessibility, elegance, performance, and maintainability. 5.Adopt automated and manual test strategies to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

Qualifications

1. Proficient in at least one coding language, including but not limited to Go, Java, Nodejs, C++.
2. Strong understanding of software development principles, capabilities and limitations of frontend and server backend.
3. Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.
4. Good communication and collaboration skills.
5. Experience building and maintaining server/back-end architecture for mobile or PC platforms.
6. Experience with backend components, including: Mysql, Kafka, RocketMQ, Redis etc..
7. At least 3 years of relevant experience
