This role sits within the Commerce vertical for the DACH region:
Location: Berlin, Hamburg or Munich
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a sales strategy and innovative solutions and execution plans to achieve sales quota and team goals
- Become an expert in the assigned segments - collect and analyze competitive intelligence and market factors to anticipate client opportunities.
- Develop and coach Brand Partnership Managers in setting long and short-term goals, milestones, and tracking performance towards revenue objectives.
- Guide Brand Partnership Managers on consultative, client-centric selling and best-in-class presentations, coach and develop for career growth.
- Lead JBP deals with respective Brand Partnership Managers
- Build relationships with C-Suite layer of key clients in the respective book of business
- Partner with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop, identify, and implement effective client advertising strategies.
- Leverage data to identify consumer trends - spot wins, opportunities and optimizations.
- Consult clients on TikTok product offerings and demonstrate a deep understanding of product capabilities, measurement, attribution, and KPIs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of proven experience in advertising sales
- 8+ years of people management experience and track record of building, coaching and developing high performing teams
- Knowledge of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying
- Experience building and developing C-level relationships and strategic partnership plans
- Strong paid media decision maker connections with key German e-commerce players
- Experience working with eCommerce clients across start-ups, scale-ups and enterprise accounts.
- Strong analytical and consultative selling skills to help identify and measure customer objectives.
- Full professional fluency in German and English in order to communicate with clients
- Expert knowledge of digital media, mobile apps, and digital/mobile marketing.
- Experience determining and comparing the effectiveness of media plans in relation to business objectives.
- Media measurement comprehension across all channels including digital, TV, and OOH.
- Background with Food & Nutrition, Beauty & Healthcare, Fashion or other commerce verticals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of TikTok Shop monetisation products and strategy.
- Previous leadership experience at TikTok or other high-growth eCommerce/ad-tech environments.
- Hands-on experience working with both paid digital media teams and eCommerce teams to drive integrated client solutions.
- Significant business unit, product or revenue responsibility in ad-tech, media, or branded firms
- Direct experience building scalable, repeatable processes to accelerate deal velocity
- Ability to develop and scale repeatable processes to accelerate deal velocity and product adoption.
- Expert knowledge of digital media, mobile apps, and digital/mobile marketing.
- Experience determining and comparing the effectiveness of media plans in relation to business objectives.
- Media measurement comprehension across all channels including digital, TV, and OOH.
- Background with Food & Nutrition, Beauty & Healthcare, Fashion or other commerce verticals is a plus.
