Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the logistics operation in Brazil, including (but not limited) to courier delivery, fulfillment warehouses, reverse logistics, reverse warehousing.
- Responsible for end to end logistics performance in different logistics models.
- Develop and manage key strategic relationships with partners, including 3PLs and logistics providers. As the SOP owner, oversee operational performance indicators (KPIs), conduct deep root-cause analyses of issues, and provide feedback on expected solutions and their business impact. Offer short-term support to the business as needed while working toward long-term solutions, and drive results through to the deployment of changes.
- Conduct market and industry research, develop operational plans to address issues. and hedge risks caused by market or policy changes if needed.
- Manage day-to-day operations with a proven track record of driving high performance and continuous team improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably with engineering, science, logistics transportation, operation management background
- At least 5+ years of working experience in logistics, experience in an E-commerce platform is a plus.
- Solid working experience and relationships in 3PL management, preferably with courier(s) in Brazil.
- Excellent understanding of any segment of logistics operation, including (but not included to) data integration, first-mile pickup, parcel sorting, line haul, courier delivery, return process, import clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Fair understanding of eCommerce marketplace operation and governance policy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to secure alignment
- Self-motivated and results driven, analytical and data driven
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English
