    What will I do?
As the Content Risk Evaluation Team Lead, you will build and lead a team of Content Risk Evaluation Specialists who serve as the frontline guardians of the platform's safety ecosystem. You will guide your team in translating complex regulations and community standards into actionable guidelines, proactively surfacing hidden and borderline content risks across both user and producer-generated content. When critical risk events emerge, you will orchestrate rapid, cross-functional responses to contain and resolve threats while continuously improving review processes. Your team will produce data-driven risk assessment reports that directly shape platform rules and safety strategies. Additionally, you will work hand-in-hand with algorithm and data science teams to close the feedback loop between human judgment and AI models-ensuring consistency, reducing model edge cases, and driving continuous improvement in both human review quality and automated content safety systems.

    Responsibilities

    1. Lead & Develop the Risk Team: Manage, mentor, and provide strategic direction to a team of Content Risk Evaluation Specialists, ensuring excellence in risk identification and mitigation.
    2. Translate Policy into Guidelines: Interpret regulations and platform policies into actionable guidelines, and oversee a case database to ensure consistent judgments across scenarios.
    3. Monitor & Characterize Content Risks: Monitor UGC and PGC ecosystems to proactively identify explicit, implicit, and borderline content risks, and extract risk characteristics.
    4. Manage Emergent Risk Events: Lead rapid response to content safety emergencies, define issues, prioritize actions, and drive cross-functional resolution and process optimization.
    5. Produce Risk Assessment Reports: Generate data-driven risk assessment reports to support platform rule optimization and review strategy decisions.
    6. Drive Cross-Functional Risk Prevention: Collaborate with operations, safety product, and other teams to implement risk prevention strategies using content review and data analysis tools.
    7. Ensure Model & Policy Consistency: Partner with algorithm and data science teams to establish a continuous "judgment-data-model" feedback loop, develop evaluation standards, and help models handle edge cases.

    • At least 2 years of team management experience, with the ability to give clear, directional guidance and develop talent in a fast-paced risk environment.
    • A strong background in content safety, policy development, or risk management, with the ability to make authoritative and credible judgments in highly ambiguous and complex scenarios.

    • Strong language ability in both written and spoken English along with effective communications.
    • Mandarin proficiency is required, as it is mandatory for daily liaison with the China team in the China market and the accurate communication of business information along with seamless collaboration with global teams and product/R&D teams.
