    About the Team:
    We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Communications Professional to join our MENA communications team as the Critical Response and Emerging Markets Lead. This role is pivotal in driving strategic communications initiatives in response to critical issues and shaping the company's presence in emerging markets within the MENA region.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement crisis communication plans for the MENA region, including rapid response strategies.
    • Lead and coordinate communication responses to critical incidents and emerging issues.
    • Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment in critical response efforts.
    • Monitor social and traditional media channels for emerging trends and potential risks in the MENA markets.
    • Alongside the Head of MENA Comms, act as the primary point of contact for critical response matters in the region.
    • Identify opportunities for proactive communications and reputation management in emerging markets.
    • Build relationships with key cross-functional teams in the MENA region and act as an advocate for emerging markets. internally.
    • Provide strategic counsel to cross-functional teams on critical response and emerging market communications.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Direct experience in communications, crisis management, or related roles.
    • Deep understanding of the MENA media landscape and cultural sensitivities.
    • Language proficiency: Business proficiency in writing, reading, and speaking in English & Arabic is desired based on regional requirements.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
    • Experience working in MENA markets and navigating challenging communication landscapes.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
    • Direct experience in communications, crisis management, or related roles.
    • Demonstrated expertise in managing critical response situations in complex environments.
    • Deep understanding of the MENA media landscape and cultural sensitivities.
    • Proven track record of successful crisis communication and issues management.
    • Ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions, and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with diverse teams across different time zones.
