    Position summary

    , for TikTok's e-commerce supply chain and logistics business in the Americas.

    • Provide pre-contract support for the aforementioned agreements, including RFP reviews and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), encompassing vendor due diligence and onboarding.
    • Contribute to the updating and maintenance of key online logistics terms for the TikTok e-commerce business in the Americas.
    • Advise internal clients on legal risks and business strategies related to business operations and commercial transactions for TikTok's supply chain and logistics business in the Americas.
    • Partner with business teams to resolve issues in existing business operations and commercial relationships, including complex operational problems and contractual disputes.
    • Support the continuous improvement and scaling of contract templates, playbooks, contract review and signature processes, other legal review processes, and related internal training.
    • Handle the above work for TikTok's supply chain and logistics business in other regions as needed.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree plus a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
    • Member in good standing of a state bar (California or New York preferred)
    • In-house experience as a commercial or legal counsel, preferably at a technology company
    • Substantial experience in negotiating logistics contracts and general procurement contracts as well as general advisory work relating to commercial transactions and business operations

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of success in completing commercial transaction negotiations under tight timelines that both meet business needs and comply with the company's risk posture
    • Solid experience in advising on logistics (shipping and fulfillment) services and programs
    • Practical business judgement
    • Experiences in developing contract templates and playbooks; use of CLMs and related training
    • Knowledge of US and international laws as they apply to e-commerce platforms and platform providers
    • Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills in a cross-functional and global role
    • Ability to work independently on many different projects at once in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience in supporting logistics in Mexico and Brazil is a plus

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $170667 - $319200 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

    Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
