    Position summary

    sion engine, enforcement framework, and model & graph platforms. These systems are tackling some of the highest throughput challenges across TikTok E-commerce. In the US, our team collaborates closely with product, data, and operations teams to address challenging fraud attacks, enhance platform capabilities, and develop features to ensure efficient deliveries of risk events, strategies, and enforcements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Strong hands-on abilities, including designing/architecting the solution and providing technical support for engineers in the team.
    • Align with business and org objectives, coordinate with cross-functional teams on delivering key results, and contribute technical decisions on projects and products.
    • Define long-term technical roadmap for the team.
    • Build team structure and team morale. Help team members with their career growth.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
    • Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical collaborators across functions and levels.
    • Strong experience with E-Commerce. Governance experience including Anti-Fraud and Risk Management.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience managing a software engineering team with 5+ engineers.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems.

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $212800 - $389500 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

    Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
