    Position summary

    e are seeking a dynamic and strategic Learning and Development professional to join GSO's Global Security Advocacy and Culture team. This role will partner with our Security Training Lead to drive the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning initiatives, which aim to empower and strengthen our global security and compliance posture. This is a unique opportunity to shape learning and education programs that align with mission-critical goals in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where talent development is key to operational success.

    Responsibilities
    -Design and develop engaging, scalable security training content using instructional design best practices (e.g., ADDIE model).
    -Create multimedia learning materials (eLearning modules, videos, infographics, job aids) tailored to diverse global audiences.
    -Localize and adapt training content for cultural and regulatory relevance across regions.
    -Plan, implement, and manage global security training programs aligned with organizational risk priorities and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
    -Coordinate cross-functional training programs, including launch planning, communications, delivery methods, and success metrics.
    -Partner with regional business leaders, HR, IT, and Compliance teams to ensure training aligns with business needs, regulatory standards, and operational feasibility.
    -Provide consultative support to internal teams for custom or role-based training initiatives.
    -Collaborate with cross-functional GSO teams to address specialized training needs, ensuring alignment with security policies, compliance requirements, and risk management.
    -Manage and build programs in our internal learning management system to distribute content, track and boost participation, meet high completion standards, and enable knowledge retention.
    -Measure training effectiveness and behavior change through KPIs (e.g., learning program engagement, phishing simulation success rates).
    -Prepare reports for leadership and audits, highlighting program impact and areas for improvement.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A self-driven learning professional who takes full ownership of initiatives, contributes strategically, and thrives with minimal supervision.
    • Strong background in learning program development and instructional design, with the ability to quickly add value across multiple projects and priorities.
    • Proven experience applying adult learning principles in a global context, particularly in highly regulated environments with diverse regional requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Proficient in using learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva) and learning management systems to design and deliver impactful training programs.
    • Experienced in collaborating with global teams, navigating diverse languages, cultures, and time zones effectively.
    • Background in compliance, privacy, and/or security, with an understanding of the learning needs within highly regulated environments.
    • Skilled in partnering with leadership to align learning strategies with organizational goals and driving measurable outcomes.

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118800 - $196000 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

    Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
