    Team Introduction
    The Localization team aims to provide localized versions of products and services to the users of specific markets. As localization specialists, we ensure that our products and services are adapted to the language, culture, and local customs of the target countries or regions.

    Responsibilities
    We are seeking a senior Localization Project Manager to join our team in Singapore. This role is for a seasoned professional who is not only an expert in managing localization projects but also a strong advocate for the value of localization within the organization. The ideal candidate will have exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, the ability to influence senior leadership, and a proven track record of building alliances to elevate the visibility and impact of the localization function.

    1. Provide guidance to product teams across the ByteDance family of apps to ensure adherence to best practices, minimizing downstream issues and reducing cost and time-to-market for localized versions.
    2. Work closely with your team to execute vendor engagement, continuously improving forecasting and efficiency, and delivering localization excellence.
    3. Act as a strong advocate for localization and develop narratives that highlight the strategic importance of localization in achieving global growth and customer satisfaction.
    4. Build and nurture collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to foster alignment, shared ownership, and broader impact for localization initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in localization project management, with a proven track record of managing complex, large-scale projects.
    2. Experience working in a global, multicultural environment
    3. Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior leadership.
    4. Demonstrated ability to build alliances and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

    Preferred Qualification

    1. Experience in advertising is a plus.
